Ambleside Park

Ambleside Park in West Vancouver is awesome! They have a a couple really fun parks. One has sand and the other borders a beautiful beach. The day started out cloudy, but it was gorgeous and warm after we had been there about 30 minutes. We had the beach to ourselves. I had no idea how fun our boys would think it was to play in the sand and collect shells and even put their feet in the water. The tide was out, and Edmund turned over a couple rocks and found some tiny crabs. He had no problem just picking them up and Jonathan even touched one. It gave me the willies. The beaches in Vancouver are all blocked by Vancouver Island, so there are almost no waves. Perfect for little boys!

Grandma Judi gave us some big kitchen spoons and buckets. They were perfect for digging in the sand.

Jonathan got his pants wet and took them off. At least he kept his underwear on.

Tree of Life and Dry Ice

Jonathan gets really bored before church on Sunday, so we made a tree of life poster.

My cousin Thea and her husband dropped by a couple weeks ago. They brought us some egg rolls in a cooler with dry ice.

Janosch

Auntie Angela sent us a giant package full of wonderful things. We had lots of opening it up and reading new stories and wearing new clothes. Thanks Angela!

Easter

My parents came for Easter. It was so much fun. We were lucky to have a little bit chilly but very nice weather. My dad and Edmund went fishing and the boys and my mom and I enjoyed lots of walks.

Edmund told Jonathan that the Easter bunny was going to come at night and sneak around hiding Easter eggs. Jonathan didn't want the Easter bunny sneaking around, so I made a sign asking the bunny not to go into his room.

Car Wash

David loved washing the car with Daddy. It was a beautiful day to be outside and ride a trike or wash the car.
