Fire Craker 5k

 

My sister and her two boys and her husband all ran the Fire Craker 5k with me! It was fun. There were over 600 people entered this year.  I wanted to run it in 24 mins, but I felt happy with the 26.40 I ran. I got 24th place in my age group and 97th overall, I think. It was so nice of my sister's family to run with me. Thank you!

 

Julia and Family!

 My sister, Julia, and her family came the evening of the 3rd. They came up for such a short visit. It was so sweet and wonderful to see them and spend time with them. My boys think her boys are the coolest kids ever!

Cress Creek Trail

 We hiked Cree Creek Trail on the 3rd of July. It is a short 30 mins outside of Idaho Falls up by Heise. It was gorgeous. Cress Creek is supposedly warm. I touched it. I guess it kinda felt like pool water, so not like Warm River, which is so cold I can hardly put in my baby toe.

More of Jonathan's Birthday

Grandma-Chelle and Bubba came for Jonathan's birthday and the 4th of July. What a special treat! the boys just can't leave Bubba alone! They were spoiled by all the wonderful attention and clothes, and matching jammies! 

 I tried out sparklers on his cake. Cool, but left a whole bunch of grey ash everywhere. We had to wash all the gummy bears and sweedish fish.

 We did real candles next, and Jonathan blew all 5 out at once!

Happy Birthday, Jonathan!

 Jonathan was very particular what he wanted for his birthday. Party hats, balloons, decorations, and a red cake with green icing. He wanted it red like his blood. I didn't want to use all the food coloring I had, so it was pink.   Jonathan has really grown up this year. He has learned so much about controlling his temper, and I really feel like he has gotten so much more confident. He is excited to try new things (usually). He is definitely a perfectionist. He is sweet and a great sharer. He adores both of his little brothers and is an excellent example. I love spending one on one time cuddling and reading books or working on an art projects with him. He is so affectionate and nice. He is truly a marvelous boy, and I love him so much!
