Easter Eggs
Edmund had the brilliant idea of using finger paints to paint Easter eggs. That way we had a terrific mess, but no permanent stains. Faster than lightning, Jonathan dipped his finger into the blue paint and ate it. Immediately thereafter, he started trying to get it out of his mouth saying "soap, soap, soap!" He was not tempted to eat the paint again after that. We helped him get as much as we could out his mouth, and then gave him some juice to wash it down. Jonathan loved smashing the eggs together or on the table, rolling them in paint, and finger painting his own hands. It is definitely something to do again.
Uncle Jon's Graduation
April was a crazy month, and I am glad that it is almost over. It was a lot of fun, but it will be nice to get back into a regular routine. Uncle Jon graduated from BYU-Idaho the first weekend of April. I'm glad that Edmund and I live here, so we can go to these sorts of things.
