Ouch!

David was leaning on the bathtub while Jonathan bathed and Edmund blew bubbles when David took a daring lean to pop an out of reach bubble. His support hand slipped, and he hit chin first on the edge of the tub. I was blow drying my hair in the other bathroom when Edmund came in carrying a semi-shocked baby with a very bloody chin. I panicked. Edmund said he needed stitches. I told Edmund to do a million things at once most of which contradicted each other. In the end, we washed it off with a wash cloth to look at the damage. It was very open and not closing or wanting to close. David was calm the whole time. I threw my hair into a pony tail (I was the only that had showered so far), and rushed David to Urgent Care. He ended up with three stitches in his chin. He never cried. He whimpered a little bit when they started putting in the stitches, but he never cried or struggled. They checked him for a concussion, but he was all clear. I guess it was just shock. As soon as we got home he was back to normal. Hooray!

Handsome!

Sick

After dinner most days, I could finally just lay down and pray that I wouldn't throw up my dinner. The boys were very helpful and tried to make me very comfortable.

True Love

I love Edmund!

Hair

I cut 10 inches off my hair. The beginning of pregnancy was so terrible, I just couldn't even stand up long enough to blow dry it, let alone straighten it, so it had to go. I miss it, but I'm happy to have some more manageable locks. I will also donate my hair to Locks for Love, so maybe someone else will be able to enjoy it!

Christmas Eve

 "Ho, Ho, Ho!"

Our home teacher gave us a very fun cookie decorating kit.

Jonathan filled up the page with swirls and curly cues for Santa.

Christmastime

We had the neighbors over to decorate cookies. They mostly just ate a bunch of candy, but we had fun.

We made Santa beards on Christmas Eve

My mom and dad gave us some snow paint, so Jonathan and Edmund enjoyed playing with that in the snow. David was only outside for a few seconds while I took a few pictures.

Breakfast

David loves to sit on Dad's lap and eat his cereal. He mostly loves to pick the Crasins out of it, but he loves eating with the big spoon too.

I've been making a lot of smoothies lately because they taste good, and I've never thrown one up.It is a good way to get a few fruits and calories.

Ward Party

The ward did a Bethlehem themed party for Christmas this year. Jonathan was excited to dress up like Joseph (with necklaces). I couldn't go because I was sick, but Edmund said that Jonathan was mesmerized by the nativity play they did. When he came home Jonathan was excited to tell me that he saw Mary, Joseph, and the baby Jesus. Elisabeth came by to say good-bye, so we tried to get a picture, but David was running off somewhere and Jonathan refused to help Charlotte sit up.

Lego Tower

My parents gave us the Legos that I grew up with. Jonathan LOVES building towers and knocking them down. David also loves towers. He is not very good at building them, but he LOVES knocking them down.

Winter

Winter here is usually long and cold and really snowy, but this year it is trying to trick us into thinking that spring is coming. We have been having warmer days and there is almost no snow. We've only had a couple good snowy days. Jonathan loves to play in the snow, no matter how cold it is, but David just cries and wants to go back inside.

Auntie Shirley and Uncle Steve

Thanks to Adam and Elisabeth we were able to have Auntie Shirley and Uncle Steve over for dinner one evening. It was so nice to see them and give them a tour of our new house!
