Father's Day

I think I am finally up to date. We had a very nice Father's Day. I am SO lucky to have such a wonderful husband and terrific father to our children. Edmund is so patient and sweet and generous. I love him so much, and I know the boys do too. David kicks his feet and squeals with delight when he comes home, and he would almost always rather have Daddy hold him than me. Jonathan insists that Edmund puts him to bed every night. I think it is because Edmund tells the best stories. The last one I heard was of Fredrick the Fire Truck. It was so funny, I cried.
David has been impossible to change lately. I dread it all day everyday, so I pretty much only change him if I absolutely have to. Here he is getting ready to send that book down the stairs, another favorite past time.

Daddy got socks for Father's day, but what we didn't know was that the boys got bat arms! Jonathan flew around the living room in his bat arms. David liked his too. After a while Edmund asked Jonathan if his hands were hot and Jonathan said, "No, my hands are all wet!" Edmund said, "Are they sweaty?" and Jonathan replied, "Yeah, my hands are sweaty!"

David loves to do a face plant every now and then.

Idaho Falls Temple

The sun was really bright, so we didn't get any pictures of Edmund with his eyes open.

We love close to the temple here too. Jonathan loves the waterfall by the front entrance. Although, he says it is "Very Youd (loud)" I wanted to get the boys in a picture together, but Jonathan thought it was a terrible idea and started crying. He he felt a little better when we gave his sunglasses back, but was happy to get up and run off again. David was content to do whatever. Awwwww, I love little babies.

Grandam-Chelle and Bubba

Grandma-Chelle and Bubba came to visit and help us get settled in right after we moved. It was SO nice to have some extra hands to hang up pictures and go to the grocery store and Home Depot. Bubba fixed the gate and helped me chop down some crazy branches from the trees. I can't say thank you enough!
Jonathan wanted to be just like Bubba. I know he is drinking Dr. Pepper, which is terrible, but I figure an 1/8 of a cup won't hurt.
We went to the Zoo. So fun!

Jonathan loves games. He and I play a game every day while David takes his morning nap. Grandma-Chelle brought us this game and Jonathan loves it.

Jonathan loves construction machines. I thought maybe it was just me encouraging something he didn't actually like, but I am sure beyond doubt now that it is him, not me that loves them. He ran over to this exhibit under construction and said, "Steer Skid Loader!" It was just as good as seeing the panda.

New House

We got the boys to take baths together for the first time when we first moved in, but Jonathan refuses to do it anymore. It was really fun while it happened. Jonathan used to say, "Two boys! Two boys in a bath!" Now he just screams, "NO! Tomorrow!"

The floor plan is much more open, and the boys have a great time pushing their wagon and the elephant around. I love that I can make dinner and still see them.

We moved about six week ago to Idaho Falls, and I am really loving it. I do miss Rexburg because it was smaller, and I had friends there, but Idaho Falls is really quite nice. There are a lot of things here that we definitely didn't have in Rexburg. Our new subdivision is right on the edge of town. The last few cul-de-sacs are actually outside city limits. The first time I went for a run I was pleasantly surprised to be able to run out past the soccer fields that are right next to our neighborhood and out into the country. I ran past pastures and horses and barns. I absolutely love it!

Sherwood Park

My mom organized a little family party at Sherwood park one evening. It was really nice. The week itself was super stressful for my mom because she had rehearsals or concerts almost every night. I think there was one night she was home. So, on top of helping with the funeral and having family staying with her she was amazing to organize this get together. Thanks Mom!

I absolutely love my family. I'm really lucky to have such an awesome big sister! My dad rocks too. I always love telling people about how awesome he is. I'm glad we named David after my dad, David.

I love both my sister-in-laws Jen and Amber. I think they are the nicest people in the world. If I ever need help or advice, I can always talk to them.
