Baby Faces

David loves books with pictures of real babies in them. One day while I was reading one, I thought to myself, "This is easy, I should make a baby faces book of my own." Easier said than done of course. I want it to be a board book, and although I have basic plan in my head on how to make it work, it is going to take some time to make it happen. I was accepted into the Idaho Falls Symphony Which now dominates my free time with rehearsals and practicing, so book-making is on the back burner. However, I LOVE playing my viola in such a great group. I actually feel like I'm not good enough to play, so I know that it is a blessing. Anyway, here are some of my boys adorable faces they made for me!

Space

We found an awesome space book at the library, and Jonathan spent long periods of time just looking at the pictures and trying to remember what Edmund or I had read to him. We actually had to renew the book because he never wanted to return it. It was a sad day when it was finally due. He is pretty amazing at remembering things. He told me all about how the Venus probes broke. He also informed me that the space suits are full of water tubes. I thought he making that up, but I looked, and he was right. Good job, Jonathan! Adam and Elisabeth were here a couple of nights and Jonathan told Adam he was going to be an astronaut. I believe it.

Temple

We went to the temple visitors center the other week. Apparently, it is the second smallest visitors center that the church has. They had a neat art display from a student at BYU. It was pretty amazing. She did oil paints with gold flaking or something. Very beautiful. I wish could remember her name. Jonathan picked his own outfit.

We had a family home evening lesson about temples last night, and Jonathan said that he when he got married the water fall would turn off because it would be all full of water. We asked him who he wanted to marry, and he said, "Some nice people."

Sprinklers

Jonathan and David LOVED playing in the sprinklers. I'm sad that we probably won't have many days left if any to play in the sprinklers. Jonathan would fill up bowls with water and then water the trees, or if I encouraged him, water the dry patches. David loved just putting his hands into the icy water and playing with little stacking cups. We enjoyed a lot of popsicles too, or in these pictures, honey sticks.
