Easter

The city Easter egg hunt was on Saturday at Porter Park. I was at home with my mom because David was sleeping. So, my dad and Edmund took Jonathan. I was expecting to meet them there, but David took a whopper grasshopper nap. Edmund said it was lots of fun, and Jonathan really had a good time. He isn't a very aggressive or assertive person, so I was worried that he wouldn't get any eggs, but he came home with two and lots of stories. For a week afterwards he wanted to go to a "hunt."

We had a lot of fun later that day dying eggs and opening Easter presents from Grandma-Chelle and Bubba.

Jonathan is flexing his muscles. One day he came upstairs while I was fixing dinner or feeding David, and he made the pose he is making in the picture and said, "Flexing muscles like Grover does."
Because we have 8:30 church, the Easter bunny came during nap time. It was hard to wait for the little boys to wake up. We were so excited for them to find the eggs and presents the Easter bunny had left. Jonathan really had a good time finding the eggs and eating the one M&M the Easter bunny had put inside. He wasn't too keen on sharing with David, but it worked out in the end.
