The boys love foot rubs with lotion. Last weekend, David actually brought me some lotion and his socks pointed to his feet then laid on the floor and waited for me to massage them. Jonathan loves it too.

Grammy
My Grammy died a few weeks ago, and Edmund and I went down for the funeral. I was definitely the closest to Grammy of all my Grandparents, and although she was in rapid decline, I was taken off guard by her death. (The flu swept in and got her in less than a week.) I was able to see all of my cousins on my mom's side, which hasn't happened since I was probably 11. Grammy was able to be close to all of us, not just to the one's who lived down the street. She had so much faith in her Grandchildren, and I know she would be happy looking down on us all.
We had lots of dinners at my parent's house. It was so fun to be with everyone.
Jonathan and Kara. Eleanor and Hugo
Jonathan had fun with his cousin's Alexander and Sam. They are all within a couple month's of each other. Sam and Jonathan seemed to really get along. They actually peed in the potty together and shared a love of the mini excavator at the cemetery.
Anna and Me
Julia, Jazzy, Dillon, Anna, Jackson, Judd, and in front, Rosie and Gordon, and Karen.
Watching Baby Einstein because David took a cat nap in the car and wouldn't take a real nap but was totally exhausted.

The Scare
At our ultrasound last week they told us that there was an area of concern about baby boy, and they wanted to do another ultrasound this week. They said that the baby might have a thickened heart muscle. They scheduled me another appointment today with a different ultrasound tech. I didn't want to ask too many questions about the heart because I was at the post office when they called, and I didn't want to scare myself. I did do a little research on my own, and it still was pretty vague.
Today, I had the second ultrasound. Right away the ultrasound tech told Edmund and I that she had looked over the previous ultrasound, and she didn't see anything to be concerned about, but it was always good to take a second look. Baby was making it difficult for her. He had his legs up over his head and was resting transverse at the bottom of my uterus. She did manage to get a good picture of his heart from all the different angles, and she said that he looked healthy and we had nothing to worry about. I asked her what she was looking for specifically, and she said that the left (I think left) ventricle was too thick. She explained that when this happens it makes it difficult for the blood to move between the chambers. She also said that it is a marker for downs syndrome. She said there was nothing in the heart that made her think there was any issues. She also checked the umbilical cord. A three part cord (2 artery and 1 vein) is normal, but a two part chord is usually an indication of a heart defect. Our little guy had a three part cord. She also said he was measuring at 1 lb 2 oz and was shaping up to be a nice big baby (hopefully no bigger than my other two boys!) Thanks to all of you who have been keeping us in your prayers.

Edmund's Birthday
We celebrated Edmund's birthday a couple days early, so we could have an entire Saturday to party. Since he is turning 30, I got an ice cream cake and a candle that sang!
Snow!
We thought it was going to be an early spring, but Winter laughed as she brought in temperatures 14 below 0, icy winds, and lots of snow during the first week of February. It warmed up a bit today, so we went outside and had some fun!
Underwear
Now that Jonathan is potty trained he loves just wearing his underwear, and David wants to be just like him. This past week we have actually had to put underwear over David's pants because he loves wearing it.
