I threw a surprise party for Edmund. I sent him to get milk on his way home from work, so his friends had time to beat him home. He was very surprised. It was a lot of fun! I couldn't get the candles on in any order, they are supposed to say, "Happy Birthday!" Oh, well. I had to rush because the kiddos were getting excited about cake, and Caleb was fussy. The cake was frozen, so it was tough work getting the candles in.
We opened presents in the morning. Each of the boys picked out a card and a small gift for Daddy. David picked out farm stickers and Jonathan picked out Star bursts. They were so excited! Jonathan could hardly stand it. Caleb loved the crinkly sound of the wrapping paper.
